  • Agios Andreas : At just 1.5 km from the 9 Muses you will find a small seaside village, Agios Andreas. There you will find fish restaurants and taverns, cafe and patisserie, and a great playground where your children can play, ride their bicycle etc. in a comfortable and safe place. In the villages’ small and picturesque harbor you can walk around the pier and during the summer you can enjoy the outdoor book bazaar and painting or photograph exhibitions that take place.
  • Petalidi : A little further away you will find Petalidi, a small and picturesque town with beautiful harbor, banks, pharmacy, restaurants, taverns, cafe, super market and various other shops. Every Friday it hosts an outdoor flea market and fish market.
  • Koroni : Koroni, one of the eyes of the “Serene Republic of Venice" - the other was Methoni - is located just 18 km away and it’s a picturesque town where the castle dominates on the hill and it is built in traditional island style. Here you can find fish taverns, restaurants laid out one next to each other on the edge of the sea. You can also find cafe and many nice bars for nightlife.
  • Methoni : It is located a little further away between Koroni and Pylos. It is a beautiful village with beautiful beaches.
  • Foinikouda : It is a picturesques fishing village and it is inafamous for its great sandy beaches and the fish.
  • Pylos : It is just 40 km away and is beautiful. In front of the small town extends its natural harbor in the Navarino bay with the island Sfaktiria, which protects it from the Ionian waves. It is an organized town with Public Administration, banks, pharmacies, shops of various kinds, restaurants and nightlife.
  • Messini : The "Drunken City" as Sotiris Patatzis said, is the second city after Kalamata, commercial and agricultural center. Here you can visit the Museum of Prints/Engraving Museum of Taki Katsoulidi. You can easily go and visit the archaeological site of Ancient Messene and the Monastery of Vourkanou.
  • Kalamata : The capital of the prefecture of Messinia. One of the most beautiful coastal cities, where, in close proximity to the city you can swim in the crystal clear waters of its’ endless beach. A highly organized city that has nothing to envy from the other big cities. Here you can find everything. Beautiful and modern/fashionable shops along the Aristomenous road, that for the most part is a pedestrian road, public offices, courts, museums and beautiful, stylish restaurants, taverns by the beach, cafe and clubs where people can have fun until the early morning hours.
